Student, J.W. Sexton High School, Class of 2015,
Besides sports, the most popular extracurricular activities are the National Honor Society, Robotics, and Science Club. These three are the extracurriculars I would highly recommend. The Science Club is facilitated by the one and only Mr. Farell, and it is led by Michigan State University undergraduate students. We are exposed to different areas of science by performing a variety of lab experiments, as well as visiting Michigan State University's dairy farms. The successful Robotics team is consisted of many intelligent and creative students in designing the best competing robot. Often, the Robotics team reaches State and/or Regional competitions. For the National Honor Society, students are disciplined by simultaneously holding a cumulative GPA of at least 3.3 and receiving at least 30 hours of community service each semester.
