Student, Pleasant Grove High School, Class of 2016,
It is not who should attend Pleasant Grove High, truly I think the real question is who should not? As a student body officer at my high school, one of the student council's number one priorities is to strive to make every student feel welcome and feel important. High school is not an easy part of life, but something I love about Pleasant Grove High is knowing that the student body appreciates everyone as they are. As a part of the student body, I often feel the constant effort that so many fellow students are making so that everyone can have a meaningful high school experience. From the Gay-Straight Alliance club to the Latinos in Action club and even the sandwich club! There is a place for everyone to feel welcome and to truly feel that they have somewhere to belong. All of the diverse clubs, sports, and teams that students have a chance to be a part of provide each student with the knowledge that they are absolutely a vital piece in the puzzle that makes up Pleasant Grove High School. Any one could belong at PG High, it only brings the school strength, as I believe fully that two heads are better then one, and five heads are better then two. There is so much strength that comes from diverse cultures and that is the environment that fills the halls of Pleasant Grove High School.
