The type of student that should attend Kingwood High School is anyone open to new ideas and the flow of intellectual stimulation. The students at KHS are motivated not by a number on a paper attempting to define them, but by the excitement of learning and becoming more in tune with the world around them. We strive to reach a deeper understanding in all relevant fields (and even not so relevant, if your heart so desires) and to become well educated, informed, and open-minded adults. While most schools have a goal to make their students a jack of all trades, or even a master of one, KHS makes it their goal to give students the opportunity to be a master of all trades with a deeper understanding and a genuine interest in each of its subjects. Knowledge is power, and KHS students are powerful.

I believe the type of student who should attend Kingwood High School is a student who will not bully other students and look down on them because they do not come from a rich family. Kingwood is a very upscale area in the Houston area. 75% of the students are from affluent families and a good portion of those students don't understand that not everyone can be gifted with a new car for their birthday and cannot dress in designer clothes. I don't believe anyone should be judged by how much money their family has, I think we should all bond since we are from the same community and we should help the people that are less fortunate.
