The type of student that should attend Florida State is one that has the dreams to be the best they can be and also has the work ethic necessary to make those dreams a reality. With over 45,000 students, new students are bound to find organizations where their passions can be cultivated, teachers which would participate in undergraduate research, and all of the resources necessary to achieve more than their dreams. As a student in my third semester, I have learned that my ability to manage my time is the most important for ensuring my success, because without being able to wake up on time. How could I possibly tend to my multiple responsibilities, volunteer and get all of my studying in? No way. The type of student that should attend this school is one that attempts to grasp the full implications of what a "full time" student is, how leaving a comfort zone is often rewarding, and one that understands they will not just learn Biochemistry, like their major implies, but they will need to appreciate learning multiple life lessons also.

The type of students who should attend Florida State University should promise to respect others, the University, the community and themselves. They should promise to pursue excellence in learning and promise to be willing to learn from and about different individuals and work to make the University's community inclusive. The students should be responsible and truthful and take the time to discover all of their surroundings.

Kids who like to have fun but understand at the end of the day that grades are most important. It is a big party school and sometimes kids can not find that balance.

Students who LOVE football would do well at this school. It is a very football orientated town. However, I do not enjoy, and I still love my school's psychology program.

A student who is disciplined and doesn't need a lot of one on one with a teacher. A student who prefers larger classes. FSU is a big school with lots of kids. FSU has many large lecture halls and a student needs to be disciplined enough to study on their own outside of class.

I actually Attend Florida State College at Jacksonville but it would not allow me to select it or continue. I love being a student at FSCJ because there are many convenient campuses and they offer most classes online which is very important to me as a single mom.

Students at Florida State University are on a big campus with a lot of students. Students who attend this university should like campus involvement and activities. They must like a large setting, with fairly big classes (depending on the major). This means having the ability to make oneself known to a professor or faculty member.

The type of student that should attend FSU is someone who is serious about the future and wants to make a difference. Someone who wants to learn with the best tools to get there. We are all blessed with time on this earth to make a difference and with limited time so we can pass along any knowledge, experience and the best of ourselves to generations to come. I feel that all students attending FSU should take education seriously and take advantage of this wonderful opportunity to make our life better, richer, and with pride so we can give back to the community and make the world a better place.

There isn't a specific type of student that should attend FSU. This University is very diverse and accommodates anyone who walks through its doors. I love the fact that walking around campus you can see all type of people from every background together, being friends or just studying on Landis. Trying to come up with a certain type of student to attend this amazing school is impossible. There are just to much happening on campus and at the University in general to bring in only one type. So to answer the question I suppose the type of student is all students.
