I would recommend attending John F. Kennedy High School. it runs on an 4x4 block schedule which allows students to take more than 6 classes every year. The school offers many different academic programs as well such as the certified AVID program, Green Ventures Academy, Ohlone Connections, and ROP classes. This school is the only school in the entire district which is certified to run the AVID program, a college preparatory program. Green Ventures is for those who are interested in economic engineering. Ohlone Connections allows Kennedy students to take free college classes and earn college credit. ROP is an adult school located across the street fro Kennedy which allows high school students to get career training/certification for free. Kennedy was recently named a Gold Ribbon School. Also, all of the teachers and students are diverse and friendly.
