Which 3 extracurricular activities at Cocalico Senior High School are most popular? Which extracurriculars would you recommend?

Anonymous, Student, Cocalico Senior High School, Class of 2016

Of the many great extracurricular activities that Cocalico High School offers, football, symphonic band and the suicide and depression club, Aviedum, are the most popular. Many students flock to these activities and enjoy them thoroughly. However, the activities do not end there. I would personally recommend the popular Army4One Bible study, National Honor Society, along with nearly all other activities offered at Cocalico.

The most popular extracurricular activities at Cocalico are sports, music, and Aevidum. The latter is an organization that was started at Cocalico and is growing across the country to spread awareness of depression and create a positive environment for students to feel accepted and appreciated. Any schools that do not have Aevidum as a club should look to start one, because high school is one of the most stressful times in a teen's life. It is crucial that he or she has someone or somewhere to go to for support, and Aevidum provides that outlet. Another extracurricular I would recommend from personal experience is marching band. While I am a member of every music group in the high school, marching band is my favorite. We are truly a family, and every member of the group is there because they want to be: not because it is required if you want to be part of other ensembles. Not only that, but there are no auditions, so there is a feeling of acceptance. Anyone can join. It is a fun and challenging event with more popular music and regular performances.
