Would you recommend attending National Cathedral School if you had the choice? Why or why not?

It would depend on the type of student. For a gifted or advanced student in math or science, NCS is not the best option, as it is very hard to convince the administration to allow students to take harder classes. However, if English or history is a students' strength, NCS is definitely one of the best schools to go to, because it has a very good humanities. If a student considering NCS is primarily concerned with getting a perfect or almost perfect GPA, NCS is most likely not the right choice.

Absolutely! Going to NCS has opened up innumerable doors for me; I have sung in the National Cathedral, studied abroad in Switzerland, and forged relationships with teachers I do not believe could ever have been forged at a different school.
