Student, Glenbrook South High School, Class of 2016,
The best type of student at Glenbrook South High School is the one who is willing to work hard everyday in their academic classes. Those who give it their best in all their classes tend to do well because they are going the extra mile to seek help from teachers and be active participants during class. At all times, they strive to learn the material being taught rather than completing an assignment just to receive a certain grade.
While being diligent in their studies, the student should also be involved in various activities, clubs, and sports that the school offers. This allows the student to spend more time in the school with their peers doing what they love, learning a new activity, or as a way to be more social.
It is very possible to be a successful student, athlete, and volunteer at Glenbrook South because my school does a great job of making sure students keep a good balance among all of those areas.
In addition to doing well in academics and extracurriculars, a GBS student should take advantage of all the resources that the school provides as a means of helping them be the best student they can be.
