The type of student who should attend Turlock High School is one who is committed to academics and rigorous courses, and who shows an interest in sports and extracurricular activities. Turlock High School has a plethora of AP and honors classes that challenge students' mental abilities. The sports at our school are competitive and teach sportsmanship and team building. They also provide an array of opportunities for participation in school events by watching our Division 1 teams play. We have an immensely spirited school who prides themselves on our one hundred year tradition. Also important to our campus is the extracurriculars available including Speech and Debate, band and orchestra, and clubs that continue to augment throughout the years such as Relay for Life, Leadership, Key Club, and various cultural clubs. Our extracurricular clubs value the quality of our community and partake in numerous town events such as The Salvation Army Red Kettles, Turlock Shines, a community wide cleaning project, Unicef, and local Rotary Clubs. The atmosphere of Turlock High School has shaped the character and morals of a century's worth of students who have gone on to better society and give back to the community they came from.
