You can lead a horse to a river, yet you can't force it to drink the water is the common saying. Honestly we are all horses, no offense, being led (by society) to go to a public or private post secondary institution. I can go on and on about why a student either should or shouldn't attend Midwestern State University, but at the end of the day the prospective high school senior or community college transfer will either take my words at face value, like a horse deciding to drink the water, or just refuse to accept it. MSU is in the small town of Wichita Falls, Texas and this is advantageous because one can know their professors better or just be secluded and focus on their studies. However, MSU is not that great when it comes to having a variety of classes and the school spirit is not that great. Nonetheless, these are opinions coming from a freshmen so it is up for the student to decide if Midwestern State University will be there college for the next four years.
