I believe if your interested in a large diverse school and sports Southern may not be the best fit for you because its fairly small and the so are the teams. There also aren't very many Hispanics , Asians . Etc
Students ho plan on having sports scholarships or to become professional athletes would have better luck at neighboring schools. Though some of our sports teams are decent, our girls basketball team and our football team are among the lowest ranking in the state. Other schools in the area will give athletes a better chance at being successful
Students that shouldn't attend southern are the one's that doesn't believe in education and studies. Southern can also change you into a positive person and impact your life.
EVERYBODY is welcomed into Southern High School, if someone is feeling a little wishy washy about attending our high school, that's okay because Southern High School adminstrators will help you make a better decision & help you to understand that going to high school is very important.
