If you are looking for a school with the highest ratings and graduation rate, you should not go to my high school. If you are looking for an above average education, you should not go to North Pulaski High School. If you are looking for a school with out the unnecessary high school drama you experienced as a high schooler, please do not attend my high school. In the smack dab middle of Arkansas is the most average of average high schools, North Pulaski. Our mascot the Falcon, deserves more respect than being put on a t-shirt that only get's worn when the laundry really needs done. Knowing that I am attending a public school that most teenager's get the same experience with different names and faces makes me want to tell you no, do not attend North Pulaski High School. To get an education, should be something precious and unique which is something definitely not found at my high school. The pursuit of knowledge is not something that the average American high school is founded upon, they are founded upon the pursuit of a high school degree. I am here to tell you any one person with a lick of sense can go through the motions and get a diploma from my high school, but it is what that same person does in their free time that defines them, not the high school they went to or the fact that they sat each day in a classroom for four years to get one slip of paper that might get them a decent job. AP classes are the only opportunity to challenge oneself at North Pulaski, and that is what I strive to achieve in, and those few classes are the only reason I would recommend attending my high school. They test what a person has inside of them, and are the only college prep classes that are free.
