Students who wants to continue education after high should attend James Campbell High School (JCHS). JCHS is considered as a college prep school with the goal of preparing most, if not all, of their students to attend a college university upon high school education. JCHS is the largest high school in Hawaii, with an average of 700 students in each graduating class, a campus located in one of the hottest town in Hawaii and not all of the classrooms has an air conditioner to help the students and teachers to "cool down" during class sessions. This is an obstacle for both students and teachers; but somehow we all are able to overcome it, get our work done and many of us are determined to graduate with high marks and get into college. The teachers and counselors at JCHS are always helpful to students, providing tutoring sessions to any students who needs help in their studies. I'm currently a senior at JCHS, with plans of attending of SFSU or SJSU in California, and most of my senior classmates have already been accepted to colleges in Hawaii and on the mainland. This is not only true for my graduating class, but I have noticed this with prior graduating classes. JCHS is the largest school in Hawaii, but many students that are out of district wants to attend my school because of the education reputation it has, and being ranked one of the top 5 high schools in Hawaii!

A student should attend Campbell if they have any particular interest in learning the arabic language, as this school is the only one in Hawaii that offers this class. Also, a student would like attending Campbell if they like large campus or student body sizes.
