In contrast, Marist College would not be tolerant of students who do no take the opportunity of a college education seriously. Marist believes in the advancement of students' education, which comes with a positive work ethic and the ambition to excel, both in and out of the classroom. It is the decision of the student to either take advantage of he great chance he or she has to earn a college degree, or to take it for granted. Overall, Marist is here to engage with those who wish to see a successful future.

People who seek a strong school spirited school, this is not the school for you. Marist has a lot of rules and they go to great lengths to make sure those rules are followed at all time. I understand it is for our safety, but its a little ridiculous. If you are one of those students who likes to do spontaneous things on campus, here is not the place to do it. They will say that you are a disrupting classes and shut you down. The diversity also sucks. The diversity at Marist is based mainly on sport scholarships or HEOP. I am speaking in terms of African - Americans, Hispanics, Asians, etc.

Any person should be allowed to attend Marist College. This is because even if you are not fitted for a certain place, you should be given a chance to create diversity and influence others.
