One that is a slow learner. The quarter system moves very quickly. Also not a large sports school, everyone values academics first.

The type of students who should not attend the University of California-Davis is simply the opposite of students that embody the qualities of hard work, dedication, ambition and humble service. Those who have not challenged themselves go to show how much lack of potential and motivation they have for the opportunities offered to them. So then what use could they make out of those opportunities in attending reputed universities like Davis when they did not try in the first place? To have a fixed mindset is a negative habit that will greatly affect one's academic performance and personal well-being in which would not be worth the time and money invested for. However, if these type of students does intend on seeking how to change for the better of themselves and their future, eager of wanting to learn and seek who they are and what they do, then yes definitely attend because there are a lot of students, counselors, and advisers that can definitely provide guidance on how to approach the situation.

A student who wants a school that is very conservative, is small, or doesn't like a diverse group of people

I think everyone can find their own niche at UC Davis, you just have to know where to look. There's a ton going on academically and your typical college experiences. I suppose if you want a place to go where you will be right in the center of the city(San Francisco or Los Angeles) then there might not be enough action for your taste but Davis is close enough to everything to get away from the peace and quiet for a while!

A student shouldn't attend UC Davis if they need a lot of hustle and bustle in the city. They need constant things to do and cannot just sit in peace. They get really bored and unenthused if there isn't many things to do in the city.
