The three extracurricular activities that are the most popular at Orting High School are: football, cheerleading, and band. Personally, I would recommend National Honors Society (NHS), soccer, and Family Career Community Leaders of America (FCCLA).

A very popular activity and one I would recommend is FCCLA. It is a community service club with 25+ members. The club runs events to bring the community together such as 5k runs, carnivals, and dinners. In addition to that FCCLA does multiple community service events like creating bags for the homeless, helping with a holiday toy drive, and river cleanups.

Football is another popular activity at Orting High School. A lot of guys participate and we have 3 teams: C team, JV, and varsity.

The final activity that is very popular is track because it incorporates multiple athletes in team events and individual events. The coaches are awesome and really have a way of motivating people.

For girls, the three most popular activities are soccer, fast-pitch, and volleyball. I recommend volleyball as I've been on the team for four years and loved every minute.
