Personally compared to the other schools in Central's district I do recommend Central. This is due to similar reasons as I said before, everyone is accepted for there differences. Our school is not made up of mostly rich or poor students. We have a variety of everyone with all backgrounds. On top of that we have something for everyone to get involved in with staff who cares if you succeed.

I would definitely recommend going to Crystal Lake Central High School if I had the choice. Central is a school that tries their best to provide for the student's need. Whether it's on LGTBQA+ rights/needs or providing help for first generation college students, Central is always there to support their student. The school is academically challenging, but with challenges comes struggle, and Central does its best to help students be successful in such difficult courses. AVID is a internationally recognized program that helps prepare students for college that was recently established at Central with the staff being all AP teachers to help students prepare and succeed in those courses. Diversity is also a main highlight at Central High School. Students of all different ethnicity have equal opportunities. It's a great school with a great faculty that's there to help students be successful in college and achieve their aspirations.

I would highly recommend CLC because here we are a family. Our students are so incredibly welcoming to new and transfer students that our seniors have taken the initiative to create a mentoring program so their transition is smooth and to help take any some of the common worries they will have such as not fitting in.
