Irvine Valley College is a great place to get back into school if you've taken a break or have decided you want to further your education. You also can take classes here as a high school student to advance your education and get an early start. And the final reason, which is also the most popular, is that you can attend IVC and transfer to a 4 year university. Our school has the highest transfer rate in our county and the second highest in California!

It's not only affordable, but the staff is amazing. I've never had a teacher I didn't love who excelled at their job!

Students should attend Irvine Valley College, firstly and most importantly, because of the transfer rate. IVC was the highest rank for student transfer percentage in 2012. Secondly, IVC has a beautiful campus in one of the safest cities in America. "Surround yourself with people that are better than you" is something my father would always tell me as a child. The last reason people should attend IVC is because the students and faculty at Irvine Valley College hold a level of intelligence, ambition, and helpfulness that is hard to find. Surrounding yourself with people on that level of education will better your future.

I comparison to other community colleges it is really easy to get your classes here because it is less populated, which means that in your classes you get a more personalized education.

Someone should attend Irvine Valley College if they want another chance at pursuing their first-choice university, instead of settling for a school they don't really want to attend. Also, someone should attend IVC if they want to save money and complete general education courses here and transfer after two years to a university. Lastly, someone should attend IVC if they're not really sure what they want to do yet, so they can take different classes and get involved in different opportunities to help them decide before transferring to a university.

  1. It has one of the highest transfer rates in Southern California.
  2. IVC is a community college and therefore is more affordable for people that need assistance.
  3. It has wonderful resources of information like the helpful councilors that know what it takes to transfer and professors that are more than willing to write letters of recommendation.
