Some common extracurricular activities at Desert include: sports, CSF (California Scholarship Federation) Club, and Drama. I personally recommend sports and CSF. Since Desert is a considerably small school compared to most, almost everyone is on a sport. If almost everyone did not play a sport, the school would have little to no teams. However, it is also good to join a sports team because it bonds the school together. Almost everyone in a grade is friends, whether through sports or choice. It really helps the school work as a whole. I also recommend CSF because it leads students on a sturdy path to college. Involves community service and introduces information about college many did not know.
