The kind of student who should go to Ridgeview High School must be one who dreams of success. The school caters to these kinds of students with the IB program, which allows students to take classes that will benefit them in College and help them enter without taking Freshman classes. For creative students the Drama and Art programs are outstanding and teach more than just arts. The teachers are sure to show how each topic relates to the real world and helps to prepare us for our life after high school. Our sports programs again do more than allow us to have fun and play sports like Football and Baseball, but also make sure that we are succeeding in school by checking our grades and offering tutoring for those struggling with grades. Our Special Needs program ensures that even those with mental disabilities can have the opportunity to succeed in life. I can say from personal experience that our Special Needs does more than just help with grades. They help these students to become active and contributing members of society. The school is not for students who just want to pass and say they got their diploma. No, we as a school have too much pride in the fact that many of our students go of to college whether it be for sports or educational. Our students are and always have been motivated to be the best we can be.

In Ridgeview it is pretty diverse, so anyone could attend and enjoy the environment. I am in band, I play sports, and I am in multiple clubs and I fit well in every environment. It is very welcoming and we all get along.
