Football, Track and Field, and Basketball are James Madison High Schools most popular extracurricular activities. Personally, I would recommend Academic league and Orchestra. These activities are not as wildly popular as the top three, but they do serve as a great way of communication with other students on a more familiar and calming environment.

The most three popular activities are Football which plays a significant part of our high school history. There have been many athletes who graduated from The Great James Madison High School and went on to pursue professional football. We also have a great Marching Band that I would gladly recommend as a extracurricular, in which so many young people have benefited from college scholarships by participating in Band. R.O.T.C is another significant extracurricular That many students find a great benefit and stepping stone to career and or the Service such as Army. Whether it is Sports, Band, or R.O.T.C, there is a great passion for all of the above that has provided and continue to provide a stability and a standard for Leadership and Professionalism.

I would also recommend any cultural or religious club, for example the Muslim Student Association, because it allows others to come together and become united. Another cub I would recommend is

The most popular activities by far are sports teams, student organizations , and music programs. I recommend those three extracurriculars because of the strong community of like-minded people that come with them, but I also recommend being a part of the smaller clubs at Madison because they give students the opportunity to make it their own.
