Which 3 extracurricular activities at Waipahu High School are most popular? Which extracurriculars would you recommend?

Anonymous, Student, Waipahu High School, Class of 2016

The first most popular activities at Waipahu High is the Arthur Award. Arthur Award is the time when all the four different graduate classes in school have to cheer against each other. It always on Friday, the football homecoming day. But before that Friday, we have Alma mater competition day on Thursday, Blue and Gold competition day on Wednesday, Field-day competition day on Monday, and no school on Tuesday. On the Friday night, the judges will announce the winner and the winner will get the trophies. The second popular activities at Waipahu High is Science Fair project. Every Freshmen years have to do this, but also if the other graduate classes want to do it, they are welcome to do it too. This project gives students have more experience on hand-made and reseach. They can have their own topic and have their own team. This project is very fun and helpful. The students have to present their project in front of many people, creative their idea, and have more knowledge beside academic. And the third one is safety fair. They call safety fair but it is like an eating day. In our school, we have more than twenty clubs. In the safety fair day, all the clubs will create some food and they sell it to the students. So we have plenty food to buy and also we have performance from our school dance crew, cheerleaders, and GLEE club (singing, popping, beatboxing, etc.) For me, I would like to recommend you on the Arthur Award day. If you are interesting in it, there are some videos on youtube that you can watch. It is just so amazing that the hold class have to team work to be able to win other classes, and everyone wants to win so they all participate in their class cheer.
