In order to apply to the MBA program at the Wharton School of Business, you must submit an online application. You must fill out your background information and write essays. For this year, the required essay asks, "What do you hope to gain both personally and professionally from the Wharton MBA?" (500 word limit), and the second, optional essay is "Please use the space below to highlight any additional information that you would like the Admissions Committee to know about your candidacy." You also need a transcript of all academic work and two letters of recommendation. Finally, you need to submit either GMAT or GRE scores, and if English is not your first language, a TOEFL score.
All students are responsible for the same tuition, regardless of their citizenship status. For 2014-2015, the cost is $68,210, and there are approximately $30,000 in additional fees (for health insurance, room and board, books, etc.) that you will need to document how you will afford. The Wharton MBA website explains more about how you can finance your MBA degree and what grants, fellowships, and scholarships are available.
