Show Choir, Band, and SODA. I would recommend SODA because it has a lot of members and it is a great way to meet new friends.

Students Opposed to Drugs and Alcohol - this organization provides an outlet for students to be educated about drugs and alcohol. They pledge to stay drug and alcohol free while in high school. This holds the students accountable to their commitment and their actions. Lean on Me - this is an organization that reaches out to young teens (middle school) and teaches them how to be a good friend, student, etc. It give them an outlet to see their high school role models, meet with them, learn from them, educate them that not everyone is perfect, even the start basketball player. Fellowship of Christian Athletes - this is an outlet to help student athletes be athletes and grow in their faith with others with the same values and principals.

The three most popular extracurriculars are definitely school athletics, show choir, and FBLA (Future Business Leaders of America). I would recommend both show choir and school athletics, as I am involved in both activities. Show choir is an awesome way to meet new friends while doing something so fun and rewarding. I have been involved with show choir since I was in seventh grade and continue to enjoy it. School athletics are also a great opportunity to meet people, while also having that added school pride and spirit. There is such a supportive community around the athletics at Linn Mar, not only for the sports you might expect big crowds at, football and basketball, but as well as men's and women's soccer, volleyball and the men's and women's swimming and diving teams. Being apart of any one of the many extracurriculars at Linn Mar is bound to be a rewarding and meaningful experience.
