Would you recommend attending Bridgeport High School if you had the choice? Why or why not?

I probably would not recommend attending Bridgeport High School because we are currently a priority school and there were a lot of problems that arose during the 2014-2015 school year due to change in administration. A lot of our teachers have left when we needed them most, and it is difficult to learn when teachers do not seem to care, do not actually teach, or if you have to keep switching teachers throughout the year. In order to successfully learn, students need to have a good connection and relationship with their teacher. It's hard to maintain that relationship when teachers continue to leave. Not to say all of the teachers are like that, but this year especially there was a problem of overcrowding and teachers leaving. It might get better in the upcoming year, but I would recommend going somewhere else for your educational needs.

Absolutely. Our school has such a wonderful name for itself around our state. We have the highest West Test scores in the state of West Virginia. Our sport and academic teams always place in all we do. The knowledge that we can gain from our school is incredible. Every student can take something from our school and many can't from other schools. Being a part of Bridgeport is not a privledge but an honor. Everyone should want to attend Bridgeport due to our work ethic, wonderful staff, and our amazing teams we have to offer.
