Student, Carrollwood Day School, Class of 2016,
The typical Carrollwood Day School student is someone who embodies all of the International Baccalaureate learner profiles; CDS students are inquirers, knowledgeable, thinkers, communicators, principled, open-minded, caring, risk-takers, balanced and reflective. Besides the sophisticated description of the CDS community, the students at CDS are warm and welcoming, while intellectually driven and respectful of each other's learning environment. Each morning each student greets each other with warm "good mornings" and before each test there is a myriad of group studies as well as social groups formed for moral support. CDS is built on trust and mutual respect, creating an environment for students to thrive.
