I would recommend it because it's a good way to prepare for the way life is going to be in the future with all the diversity and different types of people. It's important to know how to act around them and also adapt to them, as a way of learning street knowledge along with book knowledge.

No, I actually wouldn't recommend this high school because I haven't had the best experience here. My peers aren't the most motivated compared to me, that I have a difficult time sharing my goals with them. I'm usually the one who sets high standards for myself, that I'm one of the few people who takes AP classes seriously. However, the curriculum and AVID (Advanced Via Individual Determination) was able to prepare me on what to expect in college and that I'm now used to the overload of work.

I would not recommend attending Taft High School because most of the students are not friendly, the students aren't motivated, and it isn't a very well-ranked school.

Since i did have the choice to attend the magnet school at Taft high school, i would definitely recommend it. this school has made me and my fellow classmates so prepared for college and has taught us how to organize our schedules in the future. Many of the alumni from my school say that college is a breeze for them after gaining the knowledge taught at my school. With the number of AP and Dual Credit courses we take, most of us graduate with many college credits taken care of saving us money and time in the future. Another reason i would recommend going to my school is the people there. My school has student that want to be there and want to learn what the teachers are teaching. It is a very small school and we are all like family. We always help each other out with school work and help tutor underclassmen when they need it. we are a separate community from Taft which gives the students of our school a lot of pride. We are seen as exceptional student to those at Taft and we are always striving to go above and beyond our requirements. Although i go to a very hard school that is extremely challenging, I would definitely recommend it.
