Students here love to play frisbee! You always see students laying in the grass everywhere, because it is a HUGE beautiful campus. Students love to eat ice cream EVERY meal (sometimes even for breakfast!)

The top 3 things that students do for fun at Cornell University are: study, study and study! Well, at least one of them is to study because we all are here because we take learning very seriously. And I like to believe that most of the students here enjoy learning as much as I do and cannot see our lives without learning, which includes studying. Two other things that students at Cornell University do for fun are finding their passions through clubs and organizations and just hanging out with the awesome people you meet here. To touch on the passion exploration through clubs and organizations, I do not know of one student who is not a member of at least one club or organization. It is great to know that I am lucky enough to go to a school where there are enough extracurricular activities and organizations for everyone to enjoy; and if someone cannot find one, they can easily make one! Lastly, to touch on the final thing that Cornell University students do for fun, where ever I am on campus, whether it is in a dorm hall, class room, dining hall or eating area or outdoor quad, I constantly see students talking, having fun and sharing ideas with each other. The university is truly a collaborative and diverse place, so whether it is for school purposes or for relaxing and having fun there is always at least one other person to relate to around you.

We hike through the Plantations or Gorges, which are both gorgeous landmarks on campus surrounded by nature's beauty. If we happen to be in the neighborhood, we'll stop by one of the many cafes and coffee shops (College Town Bagels is a huge hit for many) to hang out with friends. And sometimes, after a long day of class, it's nice to just sit on the hill overlooking West Campus and watch the sun set.

The most popular thing to do while it's warm out is to go swimming in the gorges. Once it gets cooler out, everyone enjoys snowball fights and sledding on on the slope. And lazer tag is fun year round.

Due to the school being located in a fairly rural area, students often engage in physical activities that engage Ithaca's natural environment. Consequentially, most of the top 3 activities shift according to the seasons. To list some of the favorites would be to go swimming in the lakes and gorges during the summer and going on walks through the trails of the Cornell Plantations. However, I would say that the most popular activity would be staying warm at home or at a bar with friends to just enjoy being in each others presence.

Party. Our school has many fraternities and sororities. And just extracurricular clubs. All of which host parties rather often during the year. Students also hang out at Collegetown, which is basically the little 'downtown' of Cornell. There is an abundance of places to eat or to get coffee and chill with friends. Another popular thing to do is to visit NYC with friends over the weekends. Cornell has charter buses that go straight to NYC from our campus.
