There are immense research opportunities, the professors really care about the learning of the students, and the atmosphere is collaborative and academically focused.
The top three reasons someone should attend Cornell University is because of its: life-long membership in a huge and useful network and community; high prestige not only in the United States, but also the world; and the guaranteed mental challenge.
The campus is the most beautiful college campus I've ever been on, they offer a class in virtually every subject one can imagine--and thus allowing the students explore to stretch their boundaries to their hearts' contents--and, while the academics are challenging, the community is also supportive and helpful so that no one gets left behind even though they take a risk and challenge themselves.
The professors are awesome! The campus is beautiful! The food is also great! There is always great ice cream :)
One should attend Cornell University because of the intellectual atmosphere, rigorous classes, and educational diversity.
1) The people. You will never stop meeting students that impress you in new ways. 2) The education. A world-class education at a university founded upon the mission of "any person, any study." 3) The setting. Besides being named BusinessInsider's "Best College Town in the Country," Cornell exists in an unbelievably gorgeous natural setting. The campus is situated between two gorges, tens-of-thousands of acres of nature reserves, waterfalls, trails and the best of the Finger Lakes region.
A few reasons someone should attend Cornell University are 1) We have the strongest Yak game out there. 2) The Gorges are gorgeous (yet don't be caught saying this out loud). 3) Cornell is in Ithaca, and this quaint town is it's own unique brand of weird and that makes it beautiful.
1) Be willing to learn and share new ideas while building on ideas one garners 2) Be there to make many discoveries 3) Willing to fall and get right back up
Academics, job opportunities, diversity, food. Academics are top-notch. Espescially for CS majors - #6 in the nation
I don't think I have three reasons, because I don't think that three reasons would encompass all the reasons why I love it here. To sum it all up, Cornell is challenging. There will be times when you feel stressed, or when you don't get as much sleep as you'd want, or when you don't do as well on an exam as you thought. But (for me at least), those times are few and far between. I think that one of the common personality traits of Cornell students is a desire to push yourself, to learn more, to do better, and to create solutions that you otherwise would have never thought of. That drive to push the limits of what we already know is the reason why I love it here, and it's the reason why I'd absolutely recommend anyone who has the opportunity to come to Cornell.
the top tier education, the helpful professors and the ability to study almost any thing you want to
Cornell University is a prestigious academic institution that will grant every graduate a degree that speaks for itself. The university offers a wide array of disciplines to study, all which are relevant to modern society. Cornell values holistic learning, and exposure to disciplines outside of a student's main area of study, which cultivates diversity and intellect.
The number on reason to attend Cornell is for the amazing faculty and resources available to students. The second reason is for the prestige, name recognition, and alumni networking, when applying to grad school or a job. The third reason is for living in Ithaca, which is vital to the experience of attending and thriving at Cornell.
They should attend for the incredible professors, the diverse student body, and the traditions like slope day.
Simply put, Cornell will help you to become the best version of yourself. You will meet amazing people and be encouraged to take amazing risks, and it will result in an amazing experience.
1 & 2: Cornell has a big name, and attracts a lot of great professors, as well as a lot of great students. You will meet future engineers, doctors, and workers for social justice here. You will also meet really impressive faculty. Cornell is a research institution, and you can do some really world-changing things at this university if you have the inclination. 3. If you want to be close (~4+ hours) to New York City without being too close, Ithaca is a beautiful place. 4. (Bonus) Great financial aid. Seriously.
Cornell University has an extensive alumni group that is wiling to help you. Cornell academics will prepare you for anything. The large campus and diverse student body means that everyone will find a way to participate and study in their intended area of interest.
The first reason to attend Cornell would be the abundance of resources to help anyone with any study. The second reason would be the possibility to be surrounded by some of the greatest minds of our time who can help foster a community of academic excellence. Finally, once outside of Cornell, people will recognize the value of a Cornell education, serving as an appropriate payoff for the time and effort spent while at Cornell.
