I'm interested in an econ-math joint degree but unsure about my math skills. Is it worth trying econ-math or should I stick with the econ degree?

The math degree will help you considerably when you are looking for a job but it will be much more work and if taking difficult math classes lowers your GPA too much it might not be worth it. The math curriculum is pretty intense and not for the feint of heart. If you are doing the math I would suggest picking up a programming language as well. This is being put more into the curriculum but makes you much more attractive in the job market. (nobody is doing advanced math without the help of a computer any more)
