The city of Boise has something for everyone, Shopping, outdoor activities, and nightlife. The cost of living is low compared to the rest of the united states. The town is also very friendly and welcoming of every one. It was recently proven by one of Boise suburbs, Meridian, being named the number 1 city to live in the country.
It is relatively inexpensive for a 4 year University, It's in a pretty location, and it's not required that freshmen live on campus.
Someone should attend Boise State because students can form close and personal relationships with faculty that will allow them to make more connections within the university but also beyond it within a future career. There is always something going on at Boise State, so someone can always become a part of something and actively participate, whether it be volunteering or a fun obstacle course. Boise State is located in the heart of Boise, so there are a lot of things to do on your free time and students are never bored.
The top 3 reasons someone should attend is that it is such a diverse place, you will meet someone new everyday from some part of the world. It is so interesting just getting to know people around campus and learning about them. The professors at Boise State beat the stereotypical professor. They truly do want to get to know a student, they want to make a student have fun in a class but still learn. I have yet heard a story about someone complaining about their professor. The third reason is that if you have a love for American Football, Boise State is the right choice. I have never been in a community that is so orientated around sports, and it is extremely thrilling to see everyone get excited over the first game.
The outstanding science programs that are offered are ideal for many people going into many different science related fields, and also the reason I chose to attend this university. They also offer many opportunities to do field work in many different majors to gain real-life experience. Also, the enthusiastic school spirit is welcoming to new students and unites the school body.
Instructors love the interaction with students. The feeling of being accepted and accomplishing the life task of never ending knowledge. Boise State provided classes that are focused on the specific major at hand and the students are able to grasp the concept that much more. Being able to contribute in different formatts give any student the ability to find the time, space and of course the need to finish all their courses.

So what I think would be the main reasons why people should consider going to Boise State is because of the Great Athletic Opportunities, the Great Teachers, and the Great Internship Programs.
The school has a lot of great activities (football games, basketball games, a ton of outdoor activities). The school is a really great place to study, it has some great programs. It's pretty easy to get to know your teachers in your major field.

The three reasons that a person would attend Boise State is because it has a supportive learning environment and a good atmosphere for students to live in.
1) Boise as a city is amazing, there are so many things to do and be involved with on campus, but as well as in the community. Boise offers any type of activity year round, with Bogus Basin being within an hour there is skiing/snowboarding in the winter and mountain biking and hiking in the summer. There are so many other trails to hike and bike and run as well in the foothills, Tablerock and Camelsback. There is also the Boise River and Lucky Peak, the list goes on and on. It is very cool to see how involved the community is with BSU and how the students and faculty affect and are involved in the community.
2) The support from the teachers and faculty and student body. I really think that it is everyone's intention to help student's succeed and find the right path to success. Whether it is a professor or an advisor, you will always be pointed in the right direction, and there are student advisors as well who are always there to help you. The amount of resources available to BSU students is amazing.
3) The activities offered on campus make it really easy for students to be involved, which I think is very important as a student. The Student Involvement and Leadership Center plan events all the time to get students together for fun activities such as bringing new movies to the SPEC on Thursday nights that is free for students, or movies on the blue turf. There are color fights, dance marathons, relay for life, and so many more activities that bring students together to get to know one another, and could help them get involved in other good causes too. There is greek life as well if that is something you could be interested in, the chance to join others with similar interests and be involved in the campus, community, philanthropy is another great opportunity offered at BSU.
1) Options for study. Boise offers degrees that can't be found elsewhere (MET is only offered at a handful of other universities in the country) 2) affordability. Out of the small selection of universities that offer my program, BSU is the most affordable. 3) The Professors/administration . I have graduated from two other universities, but I have never felt so supported as I do at Boise.
Top three reasons for people going to Boise State are: it's cheap, it's close to home, and we have a football team.

Boise State University is a great place to be for many reasons, all of which lead to an enriching college experience. 1. The off-campus life in Boise is incredible. There are outdoor activities for all seasons (and Boise gets all 4 seasons) like rafting in the summer, skiing in the winter, hiking anytime of the year, farmers markets, microbreweries, concert venues, the Basque center, libraries, theaters, Shakespeare festival...there are too many to name here. You will never be bored. 2. The on-campus life is fun and safe. Recreational opportunities of every kind exist right on campus. You can catch the ballet , a concert, or play at the Morrison Center. You could choose to play frisbee golf with friends or go bowling at the student union building. The campus is safe and clean so you don't have to worry about walking home late from the library. 3. The staff is welcoming and supportive. There are numerous resources for students for tutoring, financial aid and scholarships, technical support and more. Professors make themselves accessible for help, tutoring centers are there to enhance learning, there are computer labs everywhere. Albertson's Library is one of the best libraries around and there are comfortable places to study. Whether you want a quiet place to study alone or somewhere for your study group, you'll find it here. You can't beat the Starbucks inside the library either. I like to sit on the couch with my coffee and laptop, myself. These are only three reasons BSU is a great place to be a student. Come visit and you'll probably see more reasons.

Boise State University is also a community that is very accepting. Someone should attend BSU if they're looking to get involved in the local community. Lastly, someone should attend Boise State University for a challenge, in order to grow into a better, more educated person.
There are many reasons why I chose Boise State, but if I had to narrow down the three best qualities about this university they would be the following: - A hugely diverse student population. This is likely the result of this university's many international and national student exchange/study abroad options available. - There are many outdoor activities one can do in Idaho's diverse landscape, whether it be enjoying natural hot springs in the mountain ranges near Idaho City or snowboarding up at Bogus Basin. - This is a very affordable university with many scholarships opportunities and a fairly low tuition (even for non-residents of Idaho). Their automatic merit-scholarships offer much higher amounts than most other universities/colleges and can cover a significant portion of the total expenses.
One thing that makes Boise State so special is the numerous clubs and activities students can be involved in. Our clubs and extra curricular activities range from all over the spectrum of interests. If a student wants to become involved in any activities while in college, Boise State will definitely have something for them to join. Another thing that makes Boise State stand out amongst of other universities is our incredible staff. Our staff is here to not just teach students the required material, but to make it a learning experience. I have yet to have a professor who simply taught because they "have to." The professor are passionate about what they teach and about the students they teach to; they want to develop their students into intelligent young men and women. Lastly, the number one reason I believe someone should attend Boise State University is the environment. I cannot stress enough about the students and citizens here in Boise. Coming from California, I had no idea what to expect in Boise, Idaho. The unexpected warmth and joy the students and citizens in Boise was such an amazing change from what I had experienced for the past 10 years in California. I couldn't be happier with the choice of university I made and I am so proud to call myself a Boise State Bronco.
Boise State University has a great selection of classes to choose from. The professors do their best to make sure that you learn, and help you succeed. Boise State helps you get to the future you have been dreaming of.
Boise State University's student body is so accepting in different religions, lifestyles and opinions, which makes it easy to find people like you. The education thus far is phenomenal. All of my professors are willing to help you succeed and help you do your best in their particular subject, I know they have definitely helped me. And lastly, the town is fun. The area is a relatively safe environment and is close to downtown, so there are many new restaurants to try, shops to check out, and coffee shops that rock your world.
The top 3 reasons people should attend Boise State University is because the people at Boise State are nice, the teachers are all straightforward and inform you what they expect from you, the advisers also want to see you succeed and graduate.
