Student, Sussex County Community College, Class of 2016,
The type of student who should not attend Sussex County Community College is anyone who is not serious about their education. The graduation statistics for this school are not very promising at 22%. I am a non-traditional student at thirty years old. Since returning to school in August 2015, I have been enrolled full-time and have maintained a 4.0 GPA which is a success that I plan to continue throughout my continuing education. Taking college seriously is extremely important especially when one is receiving grants or scholarships. To me, there would be nothing worse than someone receiving money for college just to see it wasted if that student fails or drops out when someone who has extreme promise could have benefited greatly from that money.
