A total of 220 credits are required for graduation. The district guideline for satisfactory and expected academic progress toward graduation is:

  • English 40 semester credits
  • Math 30 semester credits
  • Science
  • Life Science 10 semester credits
  • Physical Science 10 semester credits
  • Social Science
  • World History 10 semester credits
  • U.S. History 10 semester credits
  • Gov/Econ 10 semester credits
  • Physical Education 20 semester credits
  • Fine Arts or
  • Foreign Language 10 semester credits
  • Electives 55 semester credits
  • On Your Own 5 semester credits
  • Freshman Studies 10 semester credits
  • (Spring semester is State required Health)

All students will be required to pass the California State mandated High School Exit Exam (CAHSEE) in order to receive their high school diploma.
