Anonymous, Student, Yes Preparatory - Southwest Campus, Class of 2016

It all starts at 7:30 AM way earlier than the HISD high school just around the corner. Eight periods in total with a 4 minute brake. Here, the teachers care and when I am on the verge of collapsing there's always that one teacher looking out for me. The classes are meant with seriousness but it never hurts to add a little zest to liven it up. Every student has their own personality and potential. The specific trait there needs to be is pride and careness. Since Yes Prep SW is a small school, everyone pretty much knows everyone else. There is no gap in between because that is how close and family oriented we are. Not only that but our school shares a loud, attractive and vibrating sense of pride. We love our school and consider ourselves as "SouthBEST". Even though the courses are rigorous a student here always give 100% everyday until graduation.
