Yes , considering it's my senior year , I've been a Catoctin student for almost four years and I would recommend attending. We've made some pretty huge advancements in the past few years.

I would recommend attending Catoctin High School because the teachers there genuinely care about your education. The small school atmosphere ensures there are always available resources if you need them.

Absolutely. I have a friend with a son who is a sophomore at Wootton High School. While they rank 3rd in Maryland as far as school performance is measured, the students are stressed to the hilt and there were three suicides last year alone. His cousin, who has graduated from Wootton, just completed his first year of pre-med and it was a breeze compared to that high school. While I think schools should challenge kids, I think there is a lot more to learn about life, people and your environment than being buried in books up to your neck for four straight years. I think CHS is a well-rounded school, equally able to produced students who go on to Yale as they are to have someone graduate and go work at the local construction site. High school is about finding yourself and I think CHS provides equal opportunity for every student to do this.
