One thing I can say is that there is no such thing as a typical University of Bridgeport student . We have an extremely diverse campus which we come together as one. We learn things from one another and everyone has their own significant impact on our campus. If I said we had a typical student I would be lying because it is our diverse campus that what makes University of Bridgeport a home.

A typical University of Bridgeport student is very diverse! Our school is huge for international students so you definitely meet a lot of people from around the world. With this being said, everyone is very outgoing and friendly at UB. The type of person that should attend UB is someone with an open mind, and someone who is non judgmental. UB has a very relaxed and warming atmosphere around campus.

From my experience interacting with other students who attend the University of Bridgeport Connecticut online education distance program, the type of person that attends is self motivated, focused, articulate, and health conscious. The online discussion forums are a great way to interact with other students and learn more about them and why they also chose to attend.

The typical student is hard-working and may come from a low-income background. The University of Bridgeport is very generous in the financial aid department. If you want a small school that is still very diverse and you may not be able to afford school, the University of Bridgeport is the school for you.

As an adult returning to college in the IDEAL program that UB offers, I don't feel there is a "typical" student. Students in my program come from all walks of life, may have overcome life situations that previously prevented them from attaining their educational goals, but are all here for the same reason- to gain more knowledge, to network and to further their education.

Most of the people I attend class with are very well- rounded individuals. They come from all walks of life and they welcome new experiences. There are a lot of very smart people @ UB! Most of the people are very nice, but you meet some that aren't as polite, and that's ok with me. I love the cultural diversity among the student population.

A person that likes diversity and isn't afraid to try new things. Someone who is willing to help out a classmate because it will make them a better person. Someone who is hardworking and dedicated but also know when enough is enough.
