Their are quite a few kids at metea and theirs really a lot of people in everything so I would say Key club, French club, and best buddies are the 3 I would recommand to do.

Speech, theatre, and music are the most popular ones. I'd definitely recommend speech! It's a great way to meet some amazing people and become more comfortable in your own skin.

I would recommend the GSA (Gay Straight Alliance). Even though our school has welcoming LGBT community, it doesn't have a big presence on campus. If more students got involved, LGBT students who are struggling with their identities and sexuality would have better representation in our school.

The 3 most popular extracurricular activities at Metea are music (orchestra, chorus, band), sports ( basketball, soccer, cheer, volleyball, etc.) and Key Club. I would personally recommend Key Club. In Key Club you do community service in an organized manner, and you just help those around you. People in the Key Club in our school like volunteering at places like Feed My Starving Children or Goodwill. Key Club is a club that goes throughout the United States, and I think it is very cool that each school helps our nation little by little. Music and Sports are great pursuits don't get me wrong, but I think one should choose Key Club firstly because it is a noble pursuit and because there is nothing greater than the feeling of helping people. I think a person will both feel good about what they do and good about themselves. Win-Win.

I would recommend becoming interested in foods because the program at Metea are spectacular in helping students develope skills that will be useful for their career or life. I attended said classes and it was an experience I won't forget. Choir or any music program in this school are filled with experienced teachers and will build a foundation for the student to be able to develop needed techniques. The fitness program are above and beyond what they should be encouraging students to pursue hobbies outside of regular day to day academics.
