Student, High School for Dual Language and Asian Studies, Class of 2016,
I would recommend Dual Language despite the many setbacks I saw when I arrived such as the lack of diversity, typical curriculum, and lack of clubs. Despite all this, it is a safe and small school, which makes it easy for one to work hard to stay on top. While there are not a lot of teachers in the school, most of them do care for their students and help students not only in terms of schoolwork but also in terms of personal issues. Sometimes it may seem difficult to form friendships, however, usually people are just closed off and need a bit more time before feeling safe enough to open up. This school carves out the most dedicated and determined students.
