South Florida State College is a wonderful school in my opinion. From day one, the staff have been nothing but kind and helpful. The professors at SFSC care for their students, and go above and beyond to help their students be as successful as possible. Lastly, classes times are offered in variety, and there are several campuses to attend class, making it very possible for those who work.

Florida State College of Jacksonville is very flexible with students schedules and helps jump start students path to a higher education at very reasonable prices. The teachers are very attentive with every student and help guide them in a good direction to make them better. I haven't had a bad experience at Florida State College of Jacksonville so far.

1) Financials: not everyone can afford to go to colleges/universities like UCF,USF, and UF all the time and even if someone gets a loan it may not be enough. So starting at SFSC would be cheaper on the students and their parents. 2) Smaller class size: A class lecture at a university like UCF would have over 200 students average, while a a class lecture at SFSC would only have up to about 30 students average. Having a smaller class size allows some students to get more help from a professor. 3) SFSC may be a small college, but this college can get a lot more done than what most people expect.

  1. At SFSC you are provided with the tools to succeed and/or transfer into a higher college/university. 2. When you go to SFSC you come out ready to take on the work world and your life. 1. In the end you will have a degree in hand and what you want to do for a living for the rest of your life!

South Florida is a great college to experience your first year of college at. Just like most people say, spending your first year of college is one of the best decisions you'll make, and attending SFSC allows you to do just that. It is also an affordable school, that has financial assistance, if needed, available. The other great thing about SFSC is that the people are really nice and they always have events going on around campus.
