The type of student who should not attend Independence High School is one who is unmotivated and doesn't put his best foot forward.

Why? This only makes for a terrible high school experience. An unmotivated student will suffer with grades and not enjoy his high school years.

There is not an answer to this. I know that there are kids who do not care, or do not try, but they should still attended school in hopes of being able to say they made it and to be able to walk across that stage.

If you're looking for a vigorous academic career and high quality schools then you should not come to Independence. Our school doesn't receive a lot of funding and there isn't a lot of passion in general about either learning or anything else school related.

Independence High School is a school that is very social and up to date on everything going on in the area. Someone who is not social or is not into sports may not feel completely comfortable because of our school's pride in our athletic program.

The type of student who should not attend Independence High School is one who is not willing to share their ideas that would benefit the learning of others, students who only care about temporarily learning information for a test rather than fully comprehending the concepts, or students who do not have respect for other peers with less intellectual ability or struggle with certain materials.
