Student, Allegheny College, Class of 2017,
1). If you want to go to a school where you are able to get to know your professors and they can get to know you, go to Allegheny. This means that there is never any room to hide in a class, and your professor will get to know you not only as a student, but as a person as well. 2). If you want to go to a school that not only gives you an amazing education but also a education about the community you live in and the rest of the world, go to Allegheny. Every year Allegheny College has annual themes that they focus on. This coming year is the Year of Meadville, which is the town that Allegheny is situated in. The goal of these annual themes is to expose the students to the many communities they belong to, and how they can help better them and be a productive member. 3). If you want to go to a school just for the 'college experience', DON'T go to Allegheny. Going to Allegheny is more than a college experience, it is preparation for the rest of your life. Sure, you're going to go to parties and experiment, meet new people and have tons of fun, but you're also going to be faced with trials and hardships, face new lows and new highs. Hopefully, if you attend Allegheny, you will discover new aspects about yourself that you never knew and will graduate stronger and more prepared to take on the world.
