The 3 most popular activities are boys basketball, wrestling, and debate. The boy's basketball team won state last year and our wrestling and debate programs are outstanding. I am personally involved in softball and French Club so I would recommend those to others, but if those are not their thing I would definitely recommend our debate team.

The extracurricular activities at Apple Valley High School all have their good traits. However, the three most popular would definitely be sports, NHS (National Honors Society), and ASB (Associated Student Body). All of these get students out of the house and active. I strongly recommend sports because not only do they keep you healthy, but they also allow you to meet new people. Another amazing extracurricular would have to be anything that can help the community, like the National Honors Society, or any community service club at school.

If someone were to join my High School, they'd probably be overwhelmed of all the options of extracurricular activities that Apple Valley High School offers. I would suggest that a new student should rack up some volunteer hours (which looks great on college applications) in our programs like Hospice club, or Key Club. Additionally, you could also spend a few hours after school unwinding in our art studio, where you can unleash the stress of the day and paint whatever you like. And last, it's always perfect to join a sport, and your team can be like a second family! There's lots to choose from, like wrestling, football, swimming, tennis, and more. Becoming a part of any one of these activities can help make you many more friends, and become a very well-rounded person.
