Which 3 extracurricular activities at Fleming Island High School are most popular? Which extracurriculars would you recommend?

Anonymous, Student, Fleming Island High School, Class of 2016

Just like any other high school, sports are number one. The same goes with Fleming. Football, of course would be number one. The second is actually surprising because it's marching band. There's probably around 200 or more students in it and that's not including color guard. The third is different forms of volunteering. There are plenty of ways each week to volunteer anywhere in the school. Every club focuses on volunteering and everyone ends up doing it no matter what program you're in. I strongly recommend joining the marching band, especially if you're new to the school. No matter what, the band kids accepts anyone and they have a lot of fun being a family together. They also present multiple opportunities for helping the community through music.
