Any Arcadia High Student will tell you that everyone here is the same, that they'll do anything to get to the top, may it be cheating or tons of Adderall, but I disagree and I'm 101% sure everyone else does, too. I have never seen a school more focused on their futures and receiving a truly valuable education. The knowledge they gain is pure, it is not purged and forgotten with each bubble the they pencil in to the scantron, I hear it in their conversations, I see them apply it to their personal work and lives, and all the credit must go to the outstanding teachers of our school. I do not believe that this school is exclusively for intelligent people, I believe it's a school for anybody who is dedicated to their dream and are willing to work as hard as they must to get where they desire.

A typical student is very competitive. Competitive in sports, academics, and in the arts. An Apache (what we call fellow Arcadia High students) is enthusiastic and has school spirit. Apaches are also very social and bond well with other people. But this school is also for those who are moe timid and shy. Arcadia High School will help them come out of their shells.

The school has an open campus and is home to nearly 4,000 students. Roughly 85% of the school is asian and almost 80% is Chinese. Majority of the students have either learned, learning, or will pick up a musical instrument before they enter high school. A typical student has already practiced piano for several years and regularly attends an after school program to improve his/her academic standing. The school is very rigorous and most students have at least one tutor, so Arcadia High is for students that like challenges and is not afraid of pulling all-nighters at least once a month.

As an Asian dominant high school, a typical student at Arcadia would be very studious and intelligent. However, most students here do not participate in many school activities or extracurriculars. A typical student would lack school pride and social skills because they are always studying for their bulky, AP-filled classes.
