While it doesn't appear that Freeburg Elementary has a program specifically devoted to autism, it does have a special education program which can work to implement your child's Individual Education Plan (IEP). For more information, I'd recommend contacting the school directly and asking to speak with a special education representative. You can reach the school at (618) 539-3188 or consult the faculty directory on the school's website for specific contact information.

I'd also recommend that you read Jules Csillag's article, "What Services Are Public Schools Required to Provide to Children With Learning Disabilities?" It provides a great overview of public school special education services and includes links to other useful resources, such as the National Center for Learning Disabilities' IEP guide. More articles and advice on this topic can also be found on Noodle's learning differences and disabilities page.

Hope this helps!
