Parent of student at Dundalk High School,
Hello, my name is Luke Crowe and I am going into my Senior year of high school at Dundalk High School in Baltimore, Maryland. My passion is sports.
My most proud year was this past Junior year. I feel like I have nowhere to go but up from here. During wrestling season I took 2nd place in the Knightmare Tournament and 1st in the Dundalk Duals tournament. These were very proud moments. However, being seeded #2 in the Baltimore County Championships was the highlight of my wrestling experience this past year. I was already approved to compete in Regionals when an injury cut my year short. I am a team captain and still went to Regionals and States to cheer on my team. I not only practice and compete for high school but I am in a recreation program as well. During wrestling season my days consist of school, school practice then I walk to recreation practice. On the off season I not only practice and compete in this program but I also help coach the younger wrestlers.
Football is another passion of mine. I played recreation football for many years before I entered high school. Once I started my Freshman year I received starting positions on JV. In my Sophmore year I received Unsung Hero of the year award out of the entire school for my involvement in wrestling, football and lacrosse. In my Junior year of football I had starting positions on the varsity team also. I am currently spending my summer going to the weight room program at school to condition myself for football then in the evening I go to recreation practice for wrestling.
I am all healed and ready to come back stronger than before for my Senior year.
My goal during my college years is to be a team player on the mat, field and classroom. I am very motivated and once my mind is set on something there is no stopping me.
Thank you so much for taking the time to read this.
