My son is zoned for Boynton Beach High school when he finishes up 8th grade. I was told I can put in an application for school choice at Park Vista. He is an A-B student. When do I need to do that and what is the criteria for him getting in?

According to the School District of Palm Beach County's website, school choice applications will be made available the first week of November 2015. The website also states that eligibility for High School Choice programs is based primarily on GPA. For a complete guide to the application process, visit the district's Choice Programs homepage. If you have any questions about the process, don't hesitate to contact the district directly either via email at [email protected] or by phone at 561-434-8755. To reach Park Vista Community High School, email [email protected] or call 561-491-8400.
