Heck yeah, I would! The school drives me insane and stresses me out, but it really is a great school! The teachers will work with you no matter what, you have the support and help you need, and you're not alone. I used to go to a normal high school but then I transferred for my sophomore year to CIECHS and I can say it was worth it. I know I'm supposedly missing out the "high school experience" but I'm making it here at the school. Also, you can possibly leave with 60 college credits or more for free, that is a chance you can't turn down. The school is worth it and you will be glad when you graduate that you decided to do it.

I would definitely recommend attending Cumberland International Early College High School because you get up to 60 college credits for free, you're getting pushed out of your comfort zone by learning about the college life, and you're getting an experience that can ultimately change your life.

If I had the choice of coming to CIECHS, I would most definitely attend to go to CIECHS. The reason that I would recommend this school is that this school allows you to earn college credits, while you're finishing up high school classes. This school gives an advantage point to those that want to go to college after they graduate, because they can transfer those credits to other colleges, so they can take other college classes and possibly earn their Bachelor degree in their early 20's. Also, this school is well known for their Speech and Debate team, because in just 3 years, CIECHS, a new and a small populated school, was able to win in multiple tournaments against larger populated schools, which those schools has been in Speech and Debate for over a decade.

Yes, I would recommend going to this Early college high school to everybody I knew. I admit there were some times that I wished I didn't come here and stayed in South View (freshman year) mainly because of my friends there, not really for the education. CIECHS has a small amount of adolescents, so you can know everybody. In the other school, there was a chance of meeting new people everyday. Although that is the only benefit of why I would go back, I don't really want to risk my education based on relationships that may come to an end after high school is over. Also, when you graduate from this school, you'll practically be a junior in college.

Yes, but I would give my recommendation sparingly. As I said earlier, it takes a lot of work to succeed in this program. If you're the type of student who wants to break away from traditional schools and likes a challenge (and you have the discipline to keep up with your classes in addition to a college schedule), then yes, I would absolutely recommend this school. If you're the type of student who just wants to graduate and doesn't care about grades, then this isn't the school for you.

If you have an anxiety or a stress disorder, my recommendation is mixed. It's a good environment to be in because teachers are close to the students and understanding, but it's a lot to keep up with. If you're accepted into the school and start to feel overwhelmed, let someone (like the school counselor or an ACR teacher) know. They can help you get back on track. (If you decide that you aren't the right fit for the school, you can leave and return to your home school. It's fine if you wish to do this- people here aren't going to judge you.)

To be honest, recommending Cumberland International varies a great deal, most of it depending on my mood. The teachers and students are great- some of the most dedicated and friendly I've ever come across- but the administration is trying at the best of times and can be extremely vindictive and petty. If you are willing to put up with the administration, and are a dedicated student, this school is a good place for you. If you are a lazy or unmotivated student, or don't think the problems with the administration are worth it, you will not like it here.

If given the choice, I would definitely recommend attending Cumberland International Early College High School because of its stellar education, its environment, and its gracious opportunity. Cumberland International offers a stellar education. As stated before, teachers at Cumberland International aim to conduct their classes with a difficulty level higher than a college class, which results in fast paced lessons, project-based learning, and intense class discussions. Through these three tactics, Cumberland International students are pushed completely out of their comfort zones and take a very active role in their own learning, receiving the best education possible. Group assignments are common and help establish skills such as teamwork and leadership, which will help the student long after they complete the class. Cumberland International also offers an amazing environment. It is a school with less than 200 students, all who must apply and be accepted based on their academic and extracurricular performances from middle school. Pair the competitiveness of being accepted to the school with the amount of rigor it requires to remain in the school, and an environment of discipline, hard work and academia is created. Every student at Cumberland International decided to be there, and are willing to perform at a level that will ensure they stay. A group of more studious, hardworking, and dedicated students will not be found. Lastly, Cumberland International offers a gracious opportunity. Students are able to receive to full years of college, all expense paid, and graduate with an associate degree along with their high school diploma. Aside from room and board, every benefit offered to a college student is afforded to a Cumberland International student for free. With the ever increasing financial burden going to college can cause, this opportunity is invaluable to say the least. A stellar education, an amazing environment, and the gracious opportunity to receive two free years of college make Cumberland International Early College High School an institution I would wholeheartedly recommend any dedicated student to attend.
