The three most popular extracurricular activities at Sanborn would include Key Club, Sports (track and field has the biggest team) and also National Honor Society and Diversity Club are popular. I recommend Key Club, Sports and National Honor Society, as they can all bring people together and Key Club and NHS help the community in a positive way.

The three top extracurriculars at Sanborn Regional High School are Key Club, a striving community service club, student council, and like every other school the athletics. All three of these extracurriculars are passions that have grown throughout high school. Sophomore year I joined key club with aspirations to become the president one day and in that same year I ran as President and won the position over many upperclassmen. Since then I have doubled our clubs membership by fifty-percent. Our Key Club has 97 members making for more community service. Adding to Key Club I have been a member of my schools Student Council since freshmen year. I have comtributed many ideas towards my student council and by doing that I strongly believe I have changed the spirit in my school. Lastly, I am a 4 year 3 sport athlete meaning that I have played every season of sports possible in high school. I have played 10 varsity seasons making it a lesson to balance everything on my plate.

Key Club, Soccer, Basketball. I would recommend key club, as it has multiple chances for kids to further their community service hours and it has a lovely environment.

Girls and Boys basketball are very popular at Sanborn. Most sports are. Football and soccer are also very popular. I would recommend cheerleading as an extracurricular activity because it is challenging but rewarding. It will give you one of the hardest workouts you will ever expirience but it is also a lot of fun. You make a lot of new friends and its like a second family. The coaches are amazing and they really care about you. Cheerleading at Sanborn is very time consuming. We practice three nights a week for three hours plus games. But all the hardwork and dedication is well worth it in the end.
