Football, football and football. Katy High School is extremely proud of being Texas State Football Championships in 1959, 1997, 2000, 2003, 2007, 2008 and 2012. The entire community rallies behind the players and the school. I recommend becoming involved in a student-to-student advocacy program, which is similar to a big brother or sister program.

In my opinion, Football, band, and National Honor Society are the most popular extracurricular say Katy High School. I would recommend that every student join a sport or club that they enjoy participating in. Track is a good place to start because they don't make cuts. You can join and improve even though you may not be the best when you started.

My school was not listed - it is OD Tompkins High School in Katy, TX (it opened in 2013). The three most popular activities are football, band and cheerleading. I recommend wrestling however!

Football, Cheerleading, and Band. Personally I am not a big fan of these, and would recommend Debate, Model UN, or language related clubs, such as Spanish, German, or French club. Debate offers a wide variety of events to compete in, and allows an individual to better their own skills, even if the coach isn't that great. Model UN is more topic-based, rather than a wide sweep of topics the individual learns about a certain country, and how that country will and has been effected by certain circumstances in the world. The language clubs allow for a greater understanding of the language, as well as gaining knowledge on the culture by going to certain areas where the culture is predominant.

Many students are involved in Sports; particularly football and softball as they just won state championships. I was on swim team for four years. Other popular extracurriculars are band and theater. I would recommend participating in whatever is your passion.
